Effectiveness of Strategic Planning in Crisis Management among Women in Small and Medium Enterprises in the Republic of Yemen

The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of strategic planning in crisis management among women entrepreneurs in small and medium enterprises in Yemen. The descriptive approach, both survey and correlational, was employed, and the questionnaire method was applied to a sample of (87) women entrepreneurs. The study reached several results: the degree to which women in small and medium enterprises practiced strategic planning, from their point of view, was high, and the reality of crisis management was also high. The results also revealed that there was a statistically significant effectiveness of the degree of practicing strategic planning in crisis management from their point of view. Also, there were no statistically significant differences in the responses of the sample members to the degree of planning practice and the reality of crisis management due to the variables of project type, academic qualification, marital status, and age group in the field of planning. Differences were found between the average responses to the reality of crisis management due to the age group variable. The study recommended enhancing the level of performance of women entrepreneurs in strategic planning to manage the crises they face by adopting training, and self and institutional qualifying to confront crises.
