Engineering ultrafine Cu nanoparticles supported on zeolites via solvent-free inter-zeolite transformation for bioethanol dehydrogenation

Aggregated Cu-NPs supported on FAU were successfully redispersed into small clusters (∼2 nm) during the simultaneous conversion of FAU to BEA by IZT process. Significantly high acetaldehyde selectivity (>70%) was achieved using transformed catalyst.

Abstract

Aggregated Cu-NPs supported on FAU were successfully redispersed into small clusters (∼2 nm) during the simultaneous conversion of FAU to BEA by IZT process. Significantly high acetaldehyde selectivity (>70%) was achieved using transformed catalyst.
