To the knowledge of the fauna of Lepidoptera of Mongolia. The family forester and burnet moths (Lepidoptera: Zygaenidae)

An annotated catalog of 10 species of forester and burnet moths collected in Mongolia, mainly by the entomological division of the joint Russian-Mongolian complex biological expedition of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Mongolian Academy of Sciences in 2002–2005 and 2007–2008, is provided. Information on the biology of preimaginal stages and the distribution of the species is given. The most commonly used synonyms are given, mainly for taxa from the Asian part of the Palaearctic and the countries of the former USSR. It has been suggested that the subspecies Zygaena lonicerae sinensis Hofmann, 2017 is a possible junior synonym of the subspecies Z. l. tannuensis Viidalepp, 1979.
