COMPARATIVE ASSESSMENT OF TREATMENT RESULTS IN PATIENTS WITH VARICULOSIS OF THE LEGS
Of all the vascular systems, varicose veins of the lower extremities take first place. Statistics show that in developed countries of the world, the frequency of varicose disease is 25-33% among women and 10-20% among men [2, 3, 5, 8, 10]. In Russia alone, more than 38 million people suffering from various forms of varicose veins are officially registered, of which 15% have trophic disorders. It should be noted that varicose veins have significantly "youthed." The frequency of this disease among adolescents aged 12-16 is 21.7%, while significant pathology of deep vein valves is noted in 12% of adolescents with varicose veins [1, 4].
