Bridging Curiosity and Opportunity: How Digital Platforms Empower Youth Engagement
In the digital age, youth engagement is increasingly shaped by online platforms that provide opportunities for learning, networking, creativity, and civic participation. This paper examines how digital utilities such as Google Scholar, Coursera, ResearchGate, Medium, LinkedIn, Reddit, Instagram, YouTube, Discord, and Twitter/X serve as catalysts for youth empowerment. A descriptive review approach was employed, drawing on secondary data from published studies, platform statistics, and case examples. The findings highlight that digital utilities enhance youth participation across five key domains: learning and research, storytelling, professional networking, community dialogue, and civic engagement. A table and graphical analysis summarize these dimensions. The article concludes that digital utility is not just a tool but an ecosystem that transforms youth potential into meaningful impact.
