BIOLOGY OF MICROSCOPIC ALGAE, THEIR REPRODUCTION AND APPLICATION IN THE NATIONAL ECONOMY
This text highlights the extensive research conducted in Uzbekistan on the cultivation and application of phytoplankton, especially green and blue-green algae, in various ecological and economic sectors. Species like Chlorella, Scenedesmus, and Spirulina are studied for their high protein and bioactive content, enabling their use in fish farming, wastewater treatment, and agriculture. Algae cultivation improves water quality, increases fish productivity, and provides environmentally friendly solutions for organic pollution. Research has confirmed the potential of algae in soil fertility, livestock, and poultry farming.
