The Simulation Paradox Is Not a Paradox: A YBIM Resolution
The Simulation Paradox, classically framed by Bostrom, suggests that if advanced civilizations can run vast numbers of ancestor simulations, it is overwhelmingly likely that we ourselves are simulated observers. This view appears paradoxical, leading to infinite regress and doubts about the authenticity of reality. This paper dissolves the paradox using Yearning-Based Infinity Mathematics (YBIM). By interpreting reality as an infinite recursive flow of yearning, and every finite universe or simulation as a valid epistemic cup drawn from this flow, the binary distinction between base reality and simulation collapses. We formalize this through the YBIM Simulation Dissolution Theorem, which shows that all finite instances are ontologically authentic recursive unfoldings of the infinite yearning-flow. The result reframes anthropic reasoning as distributions of yearning-weight, preserves the authenticity of experience at all recursion depths, and directs future inquiry toward recursive phenomenology and kernel physics. The Simulation Paradox is thus revealed as an epistemic misframing, not a genuine metaphysical dilemma. -JSR
