The Extended Curvature Orbital Principle: Rotation, Curvature, and Moons
The Extended Curvature Orbital Principle (ECOP) states that no celestial body can sustain moons without rotation. Mass alone bends space locally, but only rotation extends curvature into stable orbital domains. Non-rotating or near-zero rotation bodies collapse inward, leaving no room for satellites. Every known host with moons rotates; those without measurable spin, like Mercury and Venus, remain moonless. ECOP unifies these cases into a single, falsifiable law: a truly non-rotating host with a natural satellite would disprove the principle.
