Freezing Light — Mainstream Physics vs. USP Field Theory (with Testable Proposal)
This publication presents a side-by-side comparison of how mainstream physics and USP Field Theory interpret the phenomenon often called freezing light. While conventional experiments describe frozen light as photon storage in atomic gases or semiconductors, USP Field Theory reframes it as resonance corridors created by minimizing Δf disturbances. The release of light is not a photon being unfrozen, but the re-alignment of stored oscillations. Included are two complementary documents: 1. Freezing Light — Mainstream vs USP Field Theory: A conceptual comparison with visual explanation. 2. Testable Proposal — Stored Oscillation vs Real Photons: An experimental protocol designed to falsify or support USP predictions, using Δf manipulation (temperature or phonon injection) as the critical test variable. Together, these provide both a theoretical reinterpretation and a concrete experimental pathway for evaluating whether frozen light is photon storage or resonance persistence.
