TAFSIR DAN WANITA (STUDI TERHADAP PENAFSIRAN GURU BAKHIET)

This study aims to determine Guru Bakhiet's interpretation of women's issues. This research is a field research. The conclusion of this study is that on many occasions Guru Bakhiet's lectures on Youtube media place women in a subordinate position, although on other occasions he advocates the importance of proper and fair respect for women. The subordinate conclusion above can be seen from the interpretation about relation between husband and wife in Surah al-Baqarah [2]: 228. According to Guru Bakhiet, this verse explains that women or wives have rights over men / the husband and vice versa, the husband has rights over his wife. Each has rights. However, according to the continuation of this verse, a husband has a position at a higher level than his wife. The same interpretation can be seen in the explanation of the meaning of minha and zawjaha in Surah an-Nisa verse 1. This verse, according to Guru Bakhiet, shows that women were made and created by Allah from male body parts and this is one of the reasons why Allah ordered women must be under the command of men because the incident women are part of the body of men. Despite this opinion, Guru Bakhiet actually emphasizes the need for fair treatment of women, especially for girls' education. When interpreting verse 137 of surah al-An'am, he emphasizes that girls should be given an education just like boys.
