Unified Mass–Energy Dissolution Cosmology (UMEDC)
Unified Mass–Energy Dissolution Cosmology (UMEDC) introduces a new theoretical framework that unifies matter, dark matter, and dark energy under a single principle of gradual mass dissolution. Instead of treating these cosmic components as disconnected, UMEDC proposes that all massive particles — baryonic and dark — are transient configurations whose rest mass slowly decays into diffuse energy that manifests as dark energy, accelerating cosmic expansion. This book-length monograph develops the theory in three stages: Conceptual Foundations: Revisiting mass, energy, relativity, and cosmic kinematics. Mathematical Framework: Modifying the energy–momentum relation, dispersion laws, and Friedmann equations to include mass dissolution. Consequences and Observations: Predictions for structure formation, black hole evaporation, particle physics scales, and cosmological observables (CMB, BAO, SNe, lensing, RSD). The UMEDC framework reproduces the successes of ΛCDM at early times (BBN, CMB) but predicts subtle late-time deviations in the effective equation of state , the deceleration parameter , and the growth of structure. These deviations provide falsifiable observational tests for next-generation surveys (DESI, Euclid, Rubin, CMB-S4). Written to balance mathematical rigor with conceptual clarity, this work positions UMEDC as both a scientific hypothesis and a broader cosmological narrative: a universe not of permanence but of transformation, where matter itself dissolves into energy as part of cosmic evolution.
