Hyper-Realistic Surgical Training via Dynamic Avatar Adaptation and Haptic Feedback Synchronization in Mixed Reality
**Abstract:** This paper proposes a novel system leveraging Mixed Reality (MR) and advanced biomechanical simulation to create hyper-realistic surgical training environments. Our core innovation lies in the Dynamic Avatar Adaptation (DAA) framework, which dynamically adjusts an MR surgical trainee avatar's responsiveness and tissue deformation in real-time based on their interaction force and skill level. Coupled with synchronized haptic feedback, this system provides unprecedented tactile realism, leading to significantly improved procedural comprehension and surgical skill development compared to existing training methods. The framework is immediately commercializable within the medical simulation market, projected to capture 5-10% of the $620 million market within 10 years.
