ANALYSIS OF LEXICAL ERRORS IN TRANSLATION OF COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY BASED MATERIALS
In the translation of computer science literature, lexical precision is essential to preserve technical accuracy and clarity. This study analyzes common lexical errors in the Uzbek translation of the textbook “Computer Science: An Overview” by J. Glenn Brookshear and Dennis Brylow. The analysis highlights challenges encountered when translating domain-specific terms and examines how lexical mismatches can lead to ambiguity or distortion of meaning. Recommendations are proposed to improve the quality of technical translation in the field of computer science.
