Hyper-Efficient Phase-Change Heat Dissipation in 3D-Stacked NVMe SSDs: A Hybrid Microfluidic-Thermoelectric Approach
**Abstract:** This paper details a novel cooling system for high-density 3D-stacked NVMe SSDs leveraging a synergistic combination of microfluidic cooling and thermoelectric modules. Addressing the increasingly severe thermal challenges of next-generation SSDs, our approach maximizes heat dissipation within a minimal footprint, achieving a projected 40% reduction in peak operating temperature compared to conventional heat sink-based solutions. The system's efficiency is quantified through detailed simulations and experimental validation, demonstrating its potential for enabling higher performance and increased lifespan of high-capacity SSDs.
