EXPERIENCE OF ORGANIZING THE 1-ST ALL-RUSSIAN EXHIBITION OF HORTICULTURE, FRUIT GROWING AND VEGETABLE GARDENING IN 1890: TOWARDS THE BIOGRAPHY OF S.N. KHUDEKOVA

This article examines S.N. Khudekov's work as chairman of the organizing committee for the 1st All-Russian Exhibition of Horticulture, Fruit Growing, and Vegetable Gardening, held in St. Petersburg in September 1890. It explores his biography, including his agricultural activities on his estates in Sochi and Skopin, as well as his experience with the Imperial Russian Horticultural Society. It concludes that the exhibition was important both for the development of agricultural culture in the Russian Empire as a whole and for the sociocultural work of S. N. Khudekov himself.
