A Comparative Analysis of Expert and Non-Expert Movement in Shuffle Dance: Focusing on Running Man and SpongeBob Motions

This study aims to analyze the differences in physical movement between non-experts and experts based on shuffle dance sequences, which are widely recognized in popular culture. Focusing specifically on the &quotRunning Man&quot routine, the research compares joint rotation values to visualize variations in movement precision and expression. Motion data were collected from non-expert and expert performers dancing to the same music, using a sensor-based motion-capture system. The captured data were refined and analyzed to identify the key differences in timing, coordination, and rhythm. This study contributes to a better understanding of non-expert user behavior in the context of user interfaces and motion recognition technologies.
