PEMANFAATAN ROCKET STOVE SEBAGAI TEKNOLOGI ALTERNATIF DALAM PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH DI DUSUN CIHANDIWUNG

This research examines the application of rocket stoves as an alternative technology for waste management in Cihandiwung Hamlet, Parakanhonje Village. The main problem faced by the community is the accumulation of household waste that has not been optimally managed, which has the potential to negatively impact the environment and public health. Through the Community Service Program (KKN), the team introduced and demonstrated the manufacture of rocket stoves as a simple, economical, and environmentally friendly solution. The activities included outreach, training, and mentoring of residents on the use of rocket stoves. The results showed that this technology can be applied to process organic matter into alternative fuels, thereby reducing the community's dependence on firewood and LPG. In addition to providing practical benefits, the implementation of rocket stoves also raises public awareness of the importance of sustainable waste management. Thus, this technology has the potential to be an innovative step in addressing waste problems while supporting energy independence in rural areas.
