30 years in Italy through open data

In this talk I will show the use of the Italian Census data and the Corine Land Cover data to obtain a quantitative understanding of the dynamics of the population and of the land usage in the last 30 years in Italy. Further, the integration of the two datasets allows to highlight how the increase of the population in a given area has affected the environment.
