D4.3 Guideline for participatory processes

SummaryThis deliverable sums up the results of a transdisciplinary co-production process leading to the production of these guidelines on how to make participatory processes easier to access. It expands on the methodology, provides general advice based on evidence, informs on the status quo of design-choices for each pilot and it recommends tools and methods and provides further advice to enhance inclusivity. Concluding remarks touch upon further challenges to be managed, such as the interrelation between design-choices, data protection and security, documentation, possible aims of (UX) testing, and the usage of digital platforms. Plain Language SummaryThis document explains how we created guidelines on how to make participatory processes easy toaccess. It explains the methods used.It gives advice based on general evidence. It explains the choices made in each pilot project. It compares these choices among them where relevant. It recommends tools and methods to improve inclusivity. The conclusion of this document explains the challenges that we will face:- how are design choices connected?- what are the issues with data protection and security?- what are the documentation needs?- what are the goals of user experience (UX) tests?- what are the goals of the use of digital platforms? Abstract
