Gender Analysis Report v1
This document presents the first edition of INGUMA gender analysis report. The INGUMA project adheres to gender equality as a key value for the successful completion of the project. Gender equality refers to the equal rights, responsibilities and opportunities of women and men. It means that the interests, needs and priorities of women and men are equally taken into consideration. In the INGUMA project, gender equality is analysed from two complementary perspectives: gender balance in INGUMA governance structure and activities, and integration of gender dimension into INGUMA research and innovation activities. The gender equality analysis of the INGUMA project is an ongoing activity throughout the project and forms part of the activities of the Work Package 7 (WP7) Management. This report presents the first edition of the gender equality analysis, followed by two other reports in month 30 and month 48. The objective of these reports is to systematically analyse the gender equality, taking into account both gender balance and dimension. In addition, the report suggests actions to improve gender equality in the project activities.
