Entanglement as the Missing Link in Cosmic Tensions
This work explores whether the persistent tensions in modern cosmology — the Hubble constant discrepancy, the suppressed growth of structure, and large–scale anomalies in the cosmic microwave background — may all share a common informational origin. The proposed framework distinguishes between two sectors of horizon information: locked bits, which represent realized events and define local General Relativity, and unlocked bits, which remain in superposition but sustain global correlations. Entanglement between these sectors naturally produces the observed Hubble uplift, slower structure growth, and CMB anomalies, without introducing new fields or modifying Einstein’s theory of gravity. The model is structurally economical and falsifiable. It predicts specific observational signatures that can be tested with current and upcoming surveys such as Euclid, LSST, Roman, SKA, and the ELT. This study is part of the [Horizon Information Framework] https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17167456), a broader program that links cosmology and quantum theory through information principles. Related works within this program address the normalization of vacuum energy, the origin of fundamental constants, the dual nature of the dark sector, and the behavior of black holes.
