SCIENTIFIC DISCOVERIES IN THE EAST AND WEST (COMPARATIVE APPROACH BASED ON HISTORICAL MATERIALS)

The article examines the Medieval period, covering the (VII-XV th) centuries, both in the East and West, where significant scientific and technological achievements were observed. Since time immemorial, people have inherited their knowledge from previous generations, improved on it, adapted this knowledge to their needs, and passed it on to future generations. Knowledge was collected through persistent observation, as expe-rience accumulated, and also thanks to intuitive insight. Despite the geographical distance and cultural differ-ences, parallels and mutual influences can be traced in the development of science and technology in these regions. The future of Human civilization is directly linked to our ability to learn from the historical experi-ence of both Eastern and Western civilizations. The burning of the famous library in Alexandria in 390 by Christian fundamentalists resulted in the loss of a large number of books from the classical heritage of Man-kind. The bulk of the works of Greek and some Roman scholars remained unexplored for a long period of his-tory. Muslim scholars not only revived this legacy, but supplemented it with their own observations and re-search in the fields of philosophy, astronomy, history, mathematics, chemistry, and medicine. Muslim scholars to science is evidence of the great progress of scientific development in the world. Before the Renaissance of the West, there was the Renaissance of the East, which we are only now beginning to talk about out loud. Since the XVI th century, science has been developing in the West. Many works, discoveries, and inventions of the sages of the medieval East were hushed up. Since the XIX th century, studies have been conducted on the works of scientists of the Medieval East. Almost all the works, discoveries, and inventions of the sages of the medieval East were hushed up. Exploring the works of scholars of the Medieval East and West, we see similar-ities in ideas, discoveries and inventions. There were no references from Western scholars, the information was hushed up. Recently, the scientific world has been talking out loud about the works of Eastern scientists. The problem is relevant.
