What String Theory Missed: From Background Spacetime to the Theory of Universal Functional Coherence
This article explores the deep connection between the Theory of Universal Functional Coherence (TUFC) and String Theory, demonstrating mathematically how TUFC can be interpreted as a functional and dissipative reformulation of the traditional string framework. The analysis shows that, by removing the assumption of a pre-existing spacetime and introducing dimensional closure with an irreversible [T⁻³] signature, TUFC provides an ontologically closed and empirically testable alternative to the fixed-background structure required by strings. With a derivation of the TUFC → Polyakov limit, comparative simulations, and concrete experimental proposals, this work constitutes another contribution within the broader framework of the Theory of Universal Functional Coherence, advancing the conceptual and mathematical unification of leading approaches in contemporary theoretical physics.
