Systematic Validation of the Positive Statistics Methodology: A Mathematical and Statistical Proof of Empowerment and Progress Indicators
This study aims to provide a comprehensive validation of the Positive Statistics Methodology, a novel analytical approach that focuses on measuring empowerment and improvement factors rather than merely diagnosing deficiencies. The validation is divided into two integrated frameworks: the first is the mathematical proof, which establishes the logical foundations of the newly developed indicators; and the second is the statistical proof, which confirms their validity as quantitative tools suitable for analysis and application. The research concentrated on key indicators such as the Positive Empowerment Index (PEI), the Coverage Index (CI), and the Composite Positive Achievement Index (CPAI). The mathematical proof demonstrated that these indicators operate within the standardized probabilistic space [0,1], thereby granting them solid mathematical legitimacy. Statistically, it was confirmed that these indicators conform to standard probability distributions, making them applicable for hypothesis testing and advanced statistical analysis. The findings demonstrate that Positive Statistics is not intended to replace traditional statistics, but rather to serve as a necessary complement that enriches quantitative analysis with a new dimension focused on achievement and improvement.
