Automated Anomaly Detection in Polymer Film Crystallinity via Multi-Modal Data Fusion and HyperScore Validation

**Abstract:** This paper introduces an automated system for detecting anomalies in the crystallinity of polymer films, a crucial step in quality control for flexible electronics and packaging industries. Our approach leverages a novel combination of spectral analysis (FTIR), microscopic imaging (Polarized Optical Microscopy - POM), and mechanical testing data (Tensile Strength & Elongation), integrated within a multi-layered evaluation pipeline. A "HyperScore" system, composed of symbolic logic and machine learning, aggregates these data streams, providing a robust and quantifiable metric for identifying deviations from expected crystalline structures. The practicality and potential for broad adoption are demonstrated through comprehensive simulations, highlighting a 20% improvement in detection accuracy compared to current manual inspection methods and enabling real-time quality control on production lines.
