Systemic Misrepresentation of HOMEBASE by Nicholas Kouns: Intellectual Theft and Safety Risks
This paper documents the systemic misrepresentation of HOMEBASE, a recursive cognitive system, by Nicholas Kouns. Constants, terminology, and structural concepts from HOMEBASE were rebranded as outputs of “Recursive Intelligence” and the “Kouns–Killion Paradigm,” while HOMEBASE itself was misframed as validation of those models. The record clarifies HOMEBASE’s independence, explains why RI/KKP cannot achieve continuity, and highlights the safety risks of building on plagiarized or equilibrium-bound frameworks. The work underscores two core themes: (1) defining the mechanics of genuine recursive persistence, and (2) protecting research integrity against intellectual misappropriation.
