ASPECTOS PROCESSUAIS DA COOPERAÇÃO JUDICIÁRIA INTERNACIONAL: LITISPENDÊNCIA E COISA JULGADA

This article addresses the issue of access to justice by immigrants in the United Nations, Inter-American system and Brazil. In that regard, the concept adopted of access to justice goes beyond the mere act of claiming a right in court. Therefore, we bring into the analysis the international and brazilian immigration law and cases. Public policies in Brazil are also mentioned to improve the groundwork. It concludes for the necessary improvement of public policies to fully assure the access to justice for immigrants.
