THE STRUCTURE AND COMPONENTS OF FAMILY AND TEACHER COLLABORATION IN THE PROCESS OF INCLUSIVE EDUCATION

Inclusive education emphasizes equal learning opportunities for all children, regardless of ability or background. Collaboration between families and teachers is central to ensuring consistent academic strategies and social development. This paper examines the main structural and functional elements of such collaboration in inclusive classrooms. A qualitative-descriptive review of literature, policies, and best practices highlights four key components: communication, shared decision-making, resource mobilization, and continuous monitoring. Challenges include cultural barriers, lack of teacher training, and timeconstraints, while opportunities arise from digital tools, community support, and policy reforms. Sustainable collaboration requires institutional support, teacher preparation, and active parental involvement.
