Setting up a FAIR and Reproducible Research Project
Talk at the RWTH CCLS seminar. Monday, 25th August 2025, at 4 pm. Presenter Dr. Heidi Seibold Where? Large seminar room of the Center for Biohybrid Medical Systems (CBMS), Forckenbeckstr. 55, 52074 Aachen Title: Setting up a FAIR and Reproducible Research Project Abstract: Making your research or code project FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable) and reproducible may seem like a chore. However, with access to the right tools and resources, it can become easier and save you time and energy in the long run. In this talk, I will explain why striving for FAIRness and computational reproducibility makes sense. I will share useful principles for setting up your research project for success, such as using templates for research and code projects, thinking in workflows, and recognizing that your future self will thank you for documenting things.
