Pression: A Framework of Influence and Self-Shaping (White Paper Edition) DOCX Version
Pression is a conceptual framework for understanding how internal and external pressures shape identity, perception, and action. This work introduces the term Pression as the underlying dynamic of influence, with a taxonomy that includes Compression, Repression, Depression, Subpression, Superpression, Impression, Expression, and Autopression. It also presents the Pression Matrix; a practical mapping tool for balancing external Pressions and internal Counter-Pressions. While not intended as clinical psychology, Pression offers a navigational lens for being human, with potential applications in self-reflection, philosophy of identity, creativity, and systems of influence. This white paper edition is released openly to invite critique, dialogue, and adaptation.
