Basic methodology for comprehensive assessment of the efficiency of business processes in milk production
The relevance of this study is due to the objective need for digital transformation of management processes in dairy farming, aimed at ensuring transparency of operational activities, optimization of resource consumption and compliance with regulated regulatory requirements. In the context of increasing competitive dynamics and tightening environmental regulations, the development of a scientifically based methodology for a comprehensive assessment of the efficiency of milk production business processes is of strategic importance as a tool for ensuring the sustainable development of agro-industrial enterprises. The study proposes an adapted system of coefficients for assessing the efficiency of business processes, including: complexity coefficient, process coefficient, controllability coefficient, resource intensity coefficient, adjustability coefficient, and an integral indicator of the efficiency of business processes. The developed methodology is based on the use of aggregated integral coefficients that provide a comprehensive managerial and economic-statistical assessment of production processes at the organizational level. The methodology was tested on the basis of an agricultural organization in the Nizhny Novgorod region (Knyagininsky municipal district), which made it possible to: identify key bottlenecks in the production system, develop a forecast scenario for increasing operational efficiency, and determine critical growth points for optimizing business processes. The purpose of the study was to prove the hypothesis that the application of a process approach using adapted evaluation coefficients allows not only to diagnose inefficient links in the production chain, but also to form strategically sound directions for their modernization. The results obtained confirm that the proposed methodology has significant potential for increasing the overall efficiency of dairy farming through system analysis and digitalization of key business processes.
