Sächsisches Lehnrecht: die Wurm’sche Glosse zum Sachsenspiegel-Lehnrecht

Abstract This is a first collection and analysis of the 229 alliterating word pairs in the extensive, newly edited Wurm glosses to the Lehnrecht portion of the Sachsenspiegel . The article gives the history of previously attested word pairs along with an analysis of textual context. Previous scholarship is referenced, with nods to contemporary and near-contemporary legal texts. The overview concludes with chronological and alphabetical listings.
