Research Methodology and Collaboration in Higher Education
Abstract Research in higher education has evolved from an individual pursuit to a collective enterprise shaped by collaboration, interdisciplinary exchange, and innovative methodologies. Collaboration fosters the shaping of expertise, resources, and diverse perspectives, thereby enriching the quality and relevance of the research outcomes. This study examines the interrelationship between research methodology and collaborative practices, with a particular focus on how universities and colleges adapt to the changing research landscape. This research examines the benefits, challenges, and best practices of fostering scholarly partnerships. This finding suggests that collaboration in higher education research contributes to improved academic productivity, greater access to resources, and stronger global visibility. This paper argues that collaborative research methodologies are not merely an option but a necessity for higher education institutions seeking relevance in a rapidly evolving knowledge society.
