SCIENTIFIC AND LITERARY MANIFESTATIONS IN TRANSLATION FROM AND INTO THE GERMAN LANGUAGE. A PRAGMATIC STUDY
Translation is not merely a pre-made linguistic skill; it is a professional act involving intellect, emotion, aesthetics, and precision. It allows non-native speakers of the target language to comprehend the original text and engage with it linguistically and emotionally through their own language. This engagement closely mirrors the perception of both the author and the experienced translator.Accordingly, this study aims to analyze and define the differences between scientific and literary translation from a professional and academic perspective, drawing on extensive expertise in education, teaching, and academic practice of translation.
