It is important for students who want to develop in the field of art to understand their perception of work in the field of fine arts. Thus, the purpose of our study is to study the students' perception of their future profession. During the study, the authors, in the experimental part, conducted a survey on the perception of the future profession of an artist teacher, in which art students, masters and students who have already received art and pedagogical education participated. The study was aimed at determining the interest of the students themselves, their desire to improve the profession of an artist teacher. The results of the study indicate a moderate level of students' perception of the fine arts. Students understand the responsibility when choosing a profession in the field of fine arts, and strive to create a favorable creative environment when organizing educational activities in their classes that contributes to the disclosure of the best qualities of the child's personality.
