Analysis of patent information in the field of soil reclamation
Currently, assessing trends in the development of science and technology is an urgent task. The article contains an analysis of the patent landscape in the field of soil reclamation for the period 2020-2025 in Russia. The exploratory method was used to process the information. We found that 76% of inventions are unidirectional soil reclamation. Integrated reclamation accounts for 24% of all inventions. Water, chemical and technical types of reclamation prevail among the inventions for unidirectional change in soil properties. Chemical and/or plant soil reclamations are used in 49% of inventions of integrated regulation of soil properties. Organizations Russian Research Institute for Land Reclamation, Federal Scientific Center for Hydraulic Engineering and Land Reclamation named after A.N. Kostyakov, Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy and LLC “Meshchersky Scientific and Technical Center” are leaders in the number of certificates of state registration of inventions. The majority (46%) of patents for soil reclamation are valid. Only 14% of inventions are in the public domain. By searching for thematically similar patents, it is possible to identify trends in scientific development and exclude the re-discovery of previously known technical solutions.
