Unheard Voices: Exploration of Learners' Expectations Towards School Management Systems for Constructing Better Learning Ecosystem
This scholarly paper investigates learners' anticipations regarding the teaching-learning process aimed at fostering an enhanced learning ecosystem. The investigator sought to ascertain the nature of 'pedagogical process' anticipations that learners possess concerning the teaching-learning process in the 21st century, an era characterized by the integration of Artificial Intelligence and advanced technology, as well as the essential components that should hold significant importance in the hierarchy of learners’ expectations from the educational system. 68 students from Tulsi Niketan Inter College, situated in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, were chosen for this investigation utilizing convenience sampling methodologies. Informal dialogues with the chosen learners concerning school facilities, the teaching-learning paradigm, the educational environment, etc., were conducted at various intervals from November 2023 to February 2024; focus group discussions were also incorporated to gather insights on their 'expectations' in contemporary times. The analysis and interpretation of documented reflections on the topic are subsequently presented.
