SOCIAL CONTEXT OF THE KYRGYZ INFORMATIVE TRANSLATION IN THE TIME OF INDEPENDENCE

In the last decade of the 20th century, the Kyrgyz language, which had significantly lost its social meaning during the Soviet era, received vast opportunities for its development. At the same time, the formation of Kyrgyz information translation as a full-fledged professional activity began. The vast and fruitful use of this type of translation, which plays an important role in public life, is facilitated or hindered by such social factors as the language situation and language policy, the level of functional and structural development of the target language, the presence or absence of relevant highly qualified specialists and many others. The state's concern for the language, the organization of measures to create prerequisites for its development, on the one hand, the enthusiasm and efforts of the entire public, professionals, primarily linguists and translators, on the other hand, pave the way for achieving the desired results. The article examines information translation from this perspective, considers the process of its development in the course of society development, analyses the problems of this process, shortcomings, and achievements, as well as the future of information translation in Kyrgyzstan.
