Isolation and identification of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria and quantitative analysis of indole-3- acetic acid production

Rhizobacteria that enhance plant development have been shown to effectively increase the gregariousness of plant species by promoting growth. Fifteen distinct bacterial isolates were obtained from wheat soil samples gathered in the villages of Rojda Chak, Chiklod Kalan, and BeejorRaisen in Madhya Pradesh. The isolates undergo meticulous examination to yield Indole Acetic Acid (IAA). It was found that PGPR produce Following the processing, a significant quantity of IAA was generated, which was verified and quantified using a spectrophotometer at 535 nm. IAA yielded concentrations of 3.4 µg/ml and 11.138 µg/ml. The Rf value obtained in thin layer chromatography (TLC) was 2.14 for the produced content and 1.65 for the isolates. This study showed that the ability of PGPR to produce IAA can be utilised for large-scale IAA production aimed at enhancing plant growth.
