EmpowerCoast: Supplementary Materials (Handbook & Policy Brief)

This record contains two key communication outputs of the EmpowerCoast Digital Twin project: the Citizen Handbook and the Policy Brief. Citizen Handbook: Designed for community stakeholders, this handbook explains the purpose, features, and benefits of the EmpowerCoast Digital Twin in accessible language. It introduces how citizens can engage with the platform, contribute to data collection, and use the tool for local decision-making. Policy Brief: Prepared for policy-makers and decision-support bodies, this brief highlights the policy relevance of the Digital Twin. It outlines the project’s findings, recommendations, and the potential of digital technologies to support coastal sustainability and resilience. Together, these resources aim to bridge science, policy, and society by making the EmpowerCoast Digital Twin understandable and actionable for diverse audiences.
