The Alinda Garden Power Plant Project: Renewable Energy of Faith and Self-Reliance for the Community

The Alinda Garden Power Plant Project is an Off-Grid Hybrid Renewable Energy System designed to supply reliable electricity for organizational use without reliance on external power grids. The system integrates solar photovoltaic modules with a total installed capacity of approximately 33–38.5 kWp, together with ten lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) batteries rated at 51.2 V and 250 Ah each, providing a total storage capacity of 128 kWh (with approximately 102 kWh usable at 80% DOD). The design calculation ensures that each battery can be fully charged by 6–7 solar panels, configured in series of seven panels per string with multiple strings connected in parallel to achieve the required output. This configuration emphasizes stability, high efficiency, safety and minimal maintenance. It serves as a practical model of renewable self-reliance at the organizational level, with potential applicability for communities and institutions seeking sustainable energy independence.
