The article reveals, about life of Arstanbek Builash uulu, the son of the 19th century of Kyrgyz He himself was witnessed of situation and experienced many difficulties. It is said that during his lifetime the taxes of the Kokon Khanate increased, the uprisings of the local population against the resistance of the khans intensified, and the situation of the common people worsened day by day. In addition, internal conflicts raged between the Kyrgyz tribes, which ultimately ended with the transition of the Bugu tribe to Russia as a result of the Bugu-Sarybagysh conflict. Also, the era of Arstanbek coincided with the harsh agrarian and land policy of the kingdom, the resettlement of Russian farmers to the Kyrgyz regions and the beginning of colonial oppression.
