D6.2 Assessing emerging ELOQUENCE technology: Report approved by the ELOQUENCE Community on assessing project outputs as to respecting EU values, with particular emphasis on gender, cultural or racial biases
This report emphasises mixed expertise insights and a deliberative process in assessing AI's alignment with EU values, including human rights. It advocates for iterative, adaptable methodologies that integrate empirical evidence and expert assessment, especially on nuanced issues such as privacy, protection of personal data and non-discrimination. Transparency and inclusiveness of the process are key to its credibility, with diverse stakeholders contributing to assessment. The report paves the way for the next phase of incorporating survey data, to enhance understanding of stakeholder impact and experience, underlining the necessity for exhaustive and context-aware assessments in the responsible development of AI applications within ELOQUENCE.
