New Species Fuscoporia subminutissima sp. Nov. (Basidiomycota: Polyporales: Hymenochaetaceae) From India

New species Fuscoporia subminutissima sp. nov. described and illustrated here from India. The species was described based on morphological features of the fruiting body and phylogenetic analysis of the nLSU region. This report also provides comprehensive macro-morphology and micro-morphology of newly documented fungus. Morphological and molecular studies based on the nLSU nucleotide dataset confirmed that the specimen represents a new species. This new species morphological resembles to F. minutisimma but differents by its effused reflex basidiomata, large pore (8-10 per mm), basidiospore (3.5"6.5 × 2.3"3.5 µm).
