Statistical principles: Presentation of results in scientific studies

The presentation covers the scientific and statistical presentation of results from studies in the fields of medicine or psychology. - The slides deal with descriptive presentation of location and scattering measures as well as further measures to describe the distribution.- The presentation describe also the use of other statistical measures, such as effects, effect sizes, p-values, confidence intervals, severity groups, etc. - Appropriate graphics can significantly improve the recording and evaluation of this diverse information. Aim of presentationThe presentation serves to refresh and expand statistical knowledge. It helps with presenting your results, the evaluation of studies, giving scientific lectures and writing your own publications. The lecture was given at the 34th Rehabilitation Science Colloquium 2025 of the German Pension Insurance Fund in Nuremberg. Present publication is always available in German: Dr. Bernd Röhrig (2024).
