The Concordance Of Curvature
We propose that negative curvature K<0 provides a generative lattice on which a septimal loxodrome with holonomy increment β=π/7 drives a universal grammar of scale and symmetry. A discrete loxodromic recursion on H2 produces a log-periodic ring comb with base-10 slope Δ10=αdil/ln10, the first of a triad, (the ruler) and, under weak nonlinearity, a robust quadratic septimal echo Cecho= A14/(A72+ε)) (the echo). Together the pair (Δ10,Cecho) forms parity-invariant, re-gauge-invariant observables that persist across media. A Rankine core–halo valve organizes mode selection into a stable corridor {6,12}↔{7,14}: even plateaux in the solid-body core, septimal cavities (with their 14 echo) in the halo. The shear ring’s loop-phase acts as tubular holonomy (a cavity resonance) that selects azimuthals, offsets TE/TM-like branches by π/7, and locks a mixed ladder L(2,7)=2Z∪7Z. This framework predicts a weak, geometry-gated sideband near fh/7f in systems with a dominant carrier fh (e.g., a cardiovagal HRV spur), and it ties wave dispersion to curvature via a half–Schrödinger column on H2. We supply a minimal, cross-domain measurement contract – radial FFT ruler, ridge-spectrum echo, rail-ratio dominance η≪1, and (optionally) septimal strobing—to test closure on lock windows. Claims are narrow and falsifiable: departures such as long-dwell non-septimal odd modes in the halo, loss of he 7 → 14 echo under clear septimal dominance, or curvature-independent drift of Δ10 refute the account. The algebra is compact, the readouts are simple, and the signatures are portable—from fluids, plasmas, magnons, and neurophysiology to solar and cosmological structures—inviting immediate replication and domain-specific elaborations (including the cardiac/“hear” setting) Plain words: the semilog ring-comb slope Δ10 and the quadratic echo plateau Cecho. A Rankine core–halo valve explains parity and the {6,12}↔{7,14} fusion corridor.
