Гайдельберзька університетська бібліотека: забезпечення доступу до електронних інформаційних ресурсів

The article examines the capabilities of the Heidelberg University Library in providing access to collections of electronic information sources. It was determined that the main task of the Heidelberg University Library is to collect, process, systematize and store world, primarily German, academic information resources and provide free access to them to ensure the educational process and informational support for scientific research. It was found that the search system of the scientific library is an important component of the comprehensive information and search service. It is noted that on its website, the Heidelberg University Library provides the user with convenient and accessible means of navigation in the information space, as well as means of operating data arrays and managing the search direction in a certain thematic field. It has been proven that the library's work on the formation of thematic collections of electronic information resources and providing free access to them, as well as the library's publishing activities, are gaining more and more importance, in particular, they provide users with the possibility of effective and comprehensive use of huge structured arrays of information sources. It is emphasized that the rationally organized information and communication system of the library is a vivid example of the modern organization of information arrays and the wide application of innovative information and communication technologies for the effective use of the information potential of humanity. It is noted that the Heidelberg University Library creates its own information products, innovative services and systems, aimed at significantly expanding the possibilities of obtaining the necessary knowledge, capable of satisfying the information needs of a large number of users, taking into account their requirements for the volume and relevance of the received information.
