This article examines the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of the transformation of business processes, project management, and the use of information systems and technologies in the digital age. The author highlights the impact of digitalization on key economic processes, focusing on how enterprises adapt to the new challenges of the digital economy in both Ukraine and European Union countries. Special attention is given to the analysis of modern information systems (ERP, CRM, BI, cloud services) and their role in improving organizational management efficiency, automating processes, enhancing productivity, and supporting decision-making quality. In the context of digital project management, methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban are considered, as well as their integration with classical approaches (Waterfall). The importance of digital project management tools (Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project) is demonstrated in terms of resource optimization, budgeting, and risk analysis. A significant portion of the study focuses on economic and mathematical modeling of digital transformation processes, using forecasting models, optimization algorithms, and methods for assessing the efficiency of investments in digitalization. Particular emphasis is placed on empirical data and practical examples of implementing digital solutions in enterprises across Ukraine and the EU. The article presents the author's vision of the prospects for the development of digital technologies in business, and proposes a set of strategic recommendations for public policy, the business environment, and the scientific-educational community. In particular, the necessity of creating a unified digital infrastructure, expanding access to digital tools for small and medium-sized businesses, supporting digital education, and developing the IT cluster in Ukraine is substantiated. The article combines an analytical approach with original proposals aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy amid dynamic digital changes, ensuring both scientific novelty and practical relevance. It is revealed that the digital era is transforming not only technologies but also the fundamental principles of doing business, resource management, and decision-making. Information systems, project management, and mathematical modeling form the core of a new efficiency paradigm. Based on the analysis of the situation in Ukraine and EU countries, the conclusion is made that successful digitalization is not merely the implementation of isolated IT solutions but a deep transformation of management culture, business thinking, and architecture. It is the integration of digital tools with analytical models, flexible management methodologies, and a systemic vision that opens the way to innovative breakthroughs, economic growth, and resilience in the face of global challenges.
