Studio osservazionale PRO-MIND: analisi delle caratteristiche demografiche e cliniche al basale e qualità della vita della popolazione arruolata.
Background. Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) remains heterogeneous, with 30–50% of patients becoming relapsed/refractory (R/R) and poor outcomes in those ineligible for transplant or CAR-T. Tafasitamab plus lenalidomide followed by tafasitamab monotherapy showed promising activity in L-MIND, but Italian real-world data are limited. Objectives. The PRO-MIND observational study describes baseline demographics/clinical profile and health-related quality of life (HRQoL) of R/R DLBCL patients treated in routine practice in Italy. Methods. Multicenter prospective observational cohort; descriptive statistics (SAS 9.4) and HRQoL assessed with EORTC QLQ-C30 and QLQ-NHL-HG29 (0–100 scoring). Results (ad-hoc interim, n=38). Median age 77 years; advanced disease in ~60%; substantial comorbidity burden (≈92%). HRQoL summary scores indicate moderate baseline functioning vs normative data, with notable symptom burden (fatigue, pain) and emotional/health concerns. Conclusions. Early findings characterize a clinically complex real-world population; subsequent analyses will evaluate clinical outcomes with tafasitamab-lenalidomide and HRQoL trajectories as enrollment expands.
