GenusEchemusSimon, 1878 Comments. Echemus comprises 23 species of light-coloured, small-sized gnaphosid spiders (WSC 2025). In the Caucasus, only E. angustifrons (Westring, 1861) was previously recorded (Nentwig 2025; Otto 2022).
